⬩ GARDEN-TO-PLATE Cooking CLASSES ⬩

Gather your friends and join us in the Cookhouse for a private, locally sourced cooking class at Stonewood Farm. It’s a great way to learn to create delicious, seasonally inspired cuisine in a fun and relaxed setting.

Our private classes accommodate up to 10 guests and are typically offered Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., based on availability within the Farm’s calendar. Each experience is custom designed for your group, allowing us to easily accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies, and highlights the very best of the Farm’s seasonal ingredients. If you are hoping to schedule a weekend class, we may be able to make special arrangements. All classes include instruction on basic knife skills, professional tips, and advice on proper storage of your vegetables.

Your morning will include two hours of hands-on instruction, professional tips, and time to cook together in a relaxed and welcoming setting. You’ll finish the morning with a feast prepared by you and your classmates in the beautiful, light-filled dining room of our Cookhouse. The lunch table will be set with freshly cut flowers and vintage dishes, cutlery and linens. Come hungry and ready to learn!

While we understand many gatherings mark special milestones, our classes are designed for guests who come with a genuine interest in learning about farm-fresh produce, intuitive cooking, and the mission of our nonprofit organization. Please note that we do not host bachelor or bachelorette parties, and alcohol is neither offered nor permitted during classes.

Our classes are the perfect way to learn new skills, socialize with friends, and/or share a team-building exercise. All proceeds directly support Stonewood Farm’s First Harvest Pantry and our broader community outreach efforts, so your time in the kitchen also helps nourish our neighbors.

If you are interested in learning more, please contact Chef Kristen at chef@stonewoodny.org with any questions.

We look forward to welcoming you to the Farm and into the kitchen.
