For our March supper, we’re pleased to welcome Dana Cowin of Progressive Hedonist. Dana is an award-winning editor, author, podcast host, and convener who creates change through connecting and celebrating game-changing people, places and ideas. In traditional media for most of her career, Dana was Editor in Chief of Food & Wine Magazine for more than 20 years. She has written extensively on food and culture, including a cookbook; she’s been a judge on Top Chef and Beat Bobby Flay; and she has been a speaker at numerous conferences and events.  She's on the board of the Food Education Fund, the Food Council of City Harvest, and Hot Bread Kitchen.

With her new venture, Progressive Hedonist, Dana is committed to galvanizing local communities to fight the climate crisis through food and joy. Through a national potluck event series, a podcast, and a newsletter, Dana highlights what is possible when we come together and take action. This movement builds on Dana’s experience creating Speaking Broadly, an event series, zine, and podcast spotlighting visionary women at the intersection of creativity, sustainability, and food.

As with all our Saturday Suppers, the gathering will embrace a laid-back, cozy, communal atmosphere where neighbors come together during the colder, darker months to enjoy great food and a deeper community connection. The meal will be served family-style, encouraging conversation. It's an opportunity to make new friends and strengthen existing bonds. And like our Sunday Harvest Dinner series, all proceeds from the Saturday Suppers directly support our outreach.

To make a donation and reserve a place at the March 15th supper, please select the number of seats you’d like and then click the DONATE button. We ask that you read and accept the “fine print” at checkout.
