Sunday Harvest Dinner with Matthew Mancuso

$185.00
Sold Out

July 17th, 3pm - 7pm

“Cooking for others, sharing what I know and what I create, is THE greatest joy I've ever known.”

Meet Matthew Mancuso of theartofeating. Matthew is a multifaceted chef, food blogger, food stylist, photographer, and certified dietician who started a YouTube channel to share his love for storytelling through his food. Oh, and did we mention that he’s also a culinary rock star in the Hudson Valley, so much so that we just had to have him cook with us here at Stonewood Farm. There’s good reason why his exquisite culinary skills are in such high demand and his weekends are booked nearly a year out.

Matthew has been in kitchens since he was 15, holding practically every job from front to back of house. After graduating from the Culinary Institute of America, he was offered a job at Per Se which later turned into a Chef De Partie position for the opening of the new Bouchon Bakery. From there, he spent most of his fine dining career in and around New York City, cooking in and learning from ambitious kitchens with recognizable names like Le Bernardin, Corton, Thomas Keller Restaurant Group, and Blue Hill at Stone Barns.

Matthew readily admits that he’s a bit of a glutton - definitely a curse more than a gift – and he can often be found eating large amounts of dumplings followed by fried chicken, smoked meats and ice cream, sometimes even a Michelin star dinner . . . all in a day. But for as long as he can remember, food has been an infatuation of which he can never get enough. An accomplished storyteller, having worked at and eaten in some of the world’s most renowned culinary destinations, Matthew is bringing his experiences, his palate and his passion to our Cookhouse to celebrate the bounty of our harvest.

Check out Matthew’s YouTube channel here. Once you start watching, we know you’ll be hooked. Then join us at our table and get ready to be inspired!

To donate for the July 17th dinner please select the number of tickets you’d like and then click the DONATE button. We ask that you read and accept the “fine print” at checkout.

We will attempt to accommodate special dietary requests related to the eight common allergens - gluten/wheat, milk/dairy, egg, soy, peanut, tree nuts, fish and shellfish - provided that you email us at chef@stonewoodny.com at least two weeks in advance of the event. Please include your phone number in the email so that we may call you to discuss the options we can offer.
