Special Dinner with Colu Henry and Dutchess Magazine | Friday April 17, 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm
We are delighted to welcome cookbook author and food writer Colu Henry to Stonewood Farm for a very special one-night dinner, presented in partnership with Dutchess Magazine. Colu is the author of Back Pocket Pasta, Colu Cooks: Easy Fancy Food, and her newest cookbook, published this spring, Better at Home: Recipes for Big Nights In. Her approach to cooking is one that many of us find deeply familiar and appealing. Her food is unfussy and full of pleasure, rooted in good ingredients and the belief that a beautiful meal should not require a great deal of effort or stress. She is also a Hudson Valley neighbor, which means she brings to the table a genuine appreciation for what this region grows and produces.
For this dinner, Chefs Kristen and Colu will work together to create a spring menu that draws on the early harvests from our Market Garden and reflects the spirit that both of them bring to food: seasonal, generous, and grounded in place. The evening will also feature wines provided by Erika DaSilva, owner of Ten Mile Table, whose selection will complement the menu and the season beautifully. Copies of Colu's new book will be available for purchase at the end of the meal.
We are glad to be partnering with Dutchess Magazine, which has long celebrated the people, landscapes, and food culture of our region.
This is an intimate dinner for a small number of guests, and seats are expected to go quickly. We hope you will join us for what promises to be a truly lovely evening. Proceeds support Stonewood's community outreach programs.
To make a donation and reserve a seat at the April 17th Special Dinner, please select the number of spots you’d like and then click the DONATE button. We ask that you read and accept the “fine print” at checkout.
