Elana Carlson is the founder of Fantzye Bagels, a bakery dedicated to hand-shaped, naturally fermented sourdough bagels made without commercial yeast. Elana’s love for baking grew during the pandemic when she began offering bagel kits for weekend pickups on Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts. Her goal was always to create food that is thoughtful, wholesome, and deeply connected to its ingredients. Now based in Kingston, New York, Fantzye Bagels brings the Hudson Valley to life in every sandwich. Elana carefully sources ingredients from local farms, practices slow fermentation for complex flavor and gut health benefits, and crafts each bagel with care. She believes that a simple, well-made bagel can bring people together and create a sense of community around shared meals.

As with all our Saturday Suppers, the gathering will embrace a laid-back, cozy, communal atmosphere where neighbors come together to enjoy great food and a deeper community connection. The meal will be served family-style, encouraging conversation. It's an opportunity to make new friends and strengthen existing bonds. And like our Sunday Harvest Dinner series, all proceeds from the Saturday Suppers directly support our outreach programs.

To make a donation and reserve a place at the April 11th supper, please select the number of seats you’d like and then click the DONATE button. We ask that you read and accept the “fine print” at checkout.

Before donating, please note that this meal will contain meat, dairy, eggs, and gluten in our main course. Dietary restrictions and allergies cannot be accommodated.
