This year, we’re bringing a little piece of Stonewood Farm holiday tradition back to life!
Many of you may remember the tins of cookies that Co-Founders Ken and Tom used to make during the holidays and hand-deliver to Stonewood donors. It was a wonderful tradition and a very personal way of saying thank you to the people who helped make Stonewood possible. As our donor list grew over the years, we eventually moved our holiday cookie production toward our community outreach partners, allowing those special treats to be shared with even more people.
This year, we thought it would be fun to celebrate the spirit of that original tradition in a new way. For the first time, we’re offering a Stonewood Farm Holiday Cookie Tin for purchase! Kristen and Gabby have created a custom collection of holiday cookies, drawing on favorite recipes and seasonal flavors. Each custom-printed Stonewood Farm Cookie Tin will feature an assortment of Matcha Trees, Pressed Rosemary and Brown Butter Shortbread, Ginger Hens, Rice Flour Spritz Cookies, Mulled Raisin Cuccidati, and more.
They’re the kind of cookies meant to be shared around a holiday table, tucked into a gift, brought along to a gathering, or, of course, enjoyed at home with a cup of coffee. And while we love the idea of bringing back this little piece of Stonewood history, we love even more that every tin purchased will support our culinary and food recovery programs. Your holiday indulgence helps us continue using food to nourish our community, reduce waste, and bring people together.
Holiday Cookie Tins will be available for pickup December 15 through December 18, between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. at the Cookhouse.
