Valentine’s Day Cupcakes

Valentine’s Day is right around the corner, and we have a delicious treat for you! Chef Kristen will be whipping up Red Velvet Cupcakes with Vanilla Bean Cream Cheese Frosting for your favorite Valentine. And that’s not even the sweetest part. Our friends at Cardinal Hayes Home for Children created one-of-a-kind cakebox masterpieces!
The Cardinal Hayes residents have differing levels of abilities, but nothing inhibits these inspiring young people. With some markers, paints, glue, ribbons, stickers, and stamps (made from extra wheelchair pieces!), they created the beautiful boxes you see here. We think they’ll make Kristen’s cupcakes taste even better, if that’s even possible!
There are four cupcakes in a box and each box is $25. Cupcakes contain gluten, eggs and dairy and we can not accommodate any special requests for dietary restrictions and/or allergies. They will be available for pick-up on Tuesday, February 13th, from 2 pm to 5 pm at Marona’s Market in the Village of Millbrook. Please note that you won’t be able to purchase the cupcakes at Marona’s and these are the only hours that they can be picked up. All proceeds support the Giving Garden at Cardinal Hayes and our other community outreach programs.
Not only did these cupcakes inspire a delicious and beautiful collaboration, but they were created in the spirit of vibrant community. Treat someone you love (that person can be you!) to something truly special. Happy Valentine’s Day!
