Back to the Land Book Pre-Order | In Partnership with Pieter Estersohn

$65.00
Sold Out

We’re beyond thrilled to be included as a chapter in Pieter Estersohn’s most recent book Back to the Land - A New Way of Life in the Country, published by Rizzoli. Pieter’s book offers glimpses into the lives of a broad cross section of the Hudson Valley’s growers and makers, covering the splendor of our region and the people bringing forth its bounty.

We’re pleased to announce that we’re partnering with Pieter to offer Back to the Land as a fundraiser for Stonewood Farm. For a suggested minimum donation of $65 per copy, you can own this beautiful book and have all profits ($37.50 per book) support Stonewood’s community outreach programming. Each book will be signed by Pieter and paired with a custom bookmark created by the residents of the Cardinal Hayes Home for Children here in Millbrook.

On Friday, November 22nd, the morning of our Thanksgiving Pop-Up Market, we’ll welcome Pieter from 11 am to 1 pm to personalize copies of Back to the Land in the Cookhouse. At noon, he’ll address the room and take questions. It’s sure to be a wonderful way to get the Thanksgiving holiday started.

Books will be available for pre-order starting October 3rd until November 8th. Pre-ordered books will be available for pickup starting November 22nd. Books not picked up on the 22nd of November will be available for pickup after the Thanksgiving Holidays starting on Monday, December 2nd. Books can be picked up Monday through Friday, from 9am to 3pm, in the Cookhouse.

If you’re unable to attend our in-person signing event on the 22nd of November, you can still have your book personalized by writing your personalization name(s) in the comment field at checkout. Personalizations are names only - no messages, quotes, or drawings.

Our most sincere thanks to Pieter for including us in this inspiring collection of stories and for his help in meeting our fundraising goals.
